                                      DOME DEBUT AT CASTLE SOUND & VISION

The Dome – the brand new mini-speaker line-up from Focal Labs - is available at Castle Sound & Vision, Nottingham’s leading hi fi and home automation specialists.

LINN MAJIK EVENING AT CASTLE SOUND & VISION

Castle Sound & Vision, Nottingham’s top hi-fi, custom installation and home cinema specialist, recently held a ‘Linn Majik Evening’ at the store on Maid Marian Way, Nottingham.

A number of people turned out to have an exclusive demonstration of the new Linn Majik integrated amplifier, Majik CD player and Majik 140 loud speakers. Details of a special Majik system offer, which is only available for a limited period, and a prize draw to win a dream Linn system worth £40,000 were also explained on the night.  

Guests also had the opportunity to get a closer look at the latest equipment and ask Linn representatives, as well as Castle Sound & Vision staff, for advice on products and system upgrades.

Tim Lawson, manager at Castle Sound & Vision, said “It was great event and we plan to do more of them in the coming months.”

Linn Sondeck LP12 - Ekos SE & Keel Latest Upgrades

Now on demonstration at Castle Sound and Vision

The Sondeck LP12 has evolved over the years and has seen a number of different upgrades since its birth in the1970s. This year sees the launch of not one, but three exciting new upgrades from Linn.  These have been developed over a number of years and have been designed to take the performance of the LP12 to the next level.  All upgrades of course are retro fit able to existing LP12s.

The Keel is a replacement for the standard sub-chassis, it combines the sub-chassis and arm board as one and is machined out of a solid piece of aluminium. This offers a significant improvement on the standard sub-chassis.£1950.00

The Ekos SE Tonearm features an arm tube which has been machined from solid titanium, this is an ideal choice due to the metal’s inherent dampening properties, resulting in better control of arm resonances. £2950.00

Trampolin 2 replaces the original Trampolin base, the main difference being the use of solid Aluminum within the new design. £140.00

Naim Release SUPERNAIT

This year sees the release of one of the most unconventional and exciting new products from Naim Audio, the SUPERNAIT. Launched at the Bristol show, the new Supernait has attracted a huge amount of interest.

It incorporates a number of features you wouldn’t typically find on an integrated amplifier, such as a headphone amplifier, on-board Digital to analogue converter, digital inputs and subwoofer output.

The SUPERNAIT also offers a future upgrade path if you wish to improve on the standard unit.

Neat Acoustics Ultimatum MFS Now On Demonstration

Sugden Audio Now At Castle Sound & Vision

Castle Sound & Vision are delighted to have added Sugden Audio to its select range of Hi-fi equipment.

Sugden, based in West Yorkshire, has been building specialist amplifiers for over 30 years. The first of which was the legendary A21 pure class A amplifier.

New products include the latest version of the A21 the A21A series 2 (above) and the CD21. The A21A series 2 features a new power supply and switching circuit for improved performance. It has also been given a bit of a face lift and now has the same front panel as the Masterclass and Se series.

Pioneer Release New 7th Generation HD Plasma Screens

The new models include the 427XD (42 inch) with integrated speakers and the 507XD (50 inch) excluding integrated speakers. Both models come with built in Digital tuners, 2 HDMI inputs and enhanced ISF calibration options.

Naim Hi-Line Interconnect Now On Demonstration

The Hi-Line Interconnect was developed alongside Naim's flagship CD player, the CD 555. The Hi-Line was designed to exceed the performance of the standard 5 pin din interconnect and offers significant improvement on the standard cable - an upgrade worth considering for anyone who owns a Naim CD player.

Naim Audio Launch NAC 122X Pre-Amplifier

The replacement for the NAC 112x has arrived, the 122x!

The 122x is based around the design of the NAC 202 and utilises a hardwired motorised Alps volume control and relay switched inputs for improved performance. The 122x also features additional RCA outputs, which are optimised for connecting to an active sub-woofer.
